Styled Shoot: In the Eyes, Part 1

I have had the idea for this shoot for a long time and finally made it happen.

Hair, Make Up, and Styling were all done by me and of course the Photography.
My beautiful elegant sister Saren was an amazing model.

Reminders of Home

          There are not words for the thoughts of the heart as they have their own language. A language that teaches and inspires long after the words of the mind are forgotten. They become embedded in a small tucked away corner of the soul where the glow of their light kindles the fires of change and illuminates the rivers of hope. Sometimes they work slowly and determined, and at other times they come swiftly; sweeping away the dirt to reveal a new, polished and stronger soul.

Here are two songs that are quite dear to my heart and always leave me renewed and inspired.

Storytelling

I'm working on my storytelling abilities and my improv as always.

Two chairs, a story and a song.
For all those who've tried to understand their heart
or ever struggled to "surrender" it to a better cause. 

Some of the parts work and some less so but I like a lot of the concepts.

I love improv'ng because I can respond in a very open way that 

helps me to grow immensely as a dancer.

Music can be seen and felt as well as heard.

I dance because there aren't words for the songs in my soul

and the gratitude I feel to my Heavenly Father for his

incredible love and patience with me.
